Cloud Infrastructure

The ESA MAAP’s infrastructure, developed collaboratively by infrastructure architects and software developers, leverages mainstream technology to ensure scalability and flexibility.
The ESA MAAP Identity and Access Management (IAM) Service manages user access across ESA MAAP services, providing authentication and authorization. It supports industry standards and it is federated with external providers to allow seamless user federation and authentication.
Manages and scales containerized applications through horizontal scalability. Instead of scaling virtual machines, Kubernetes scales by adding or removing container instances. Applications are scaled up or down by adjusting the number of pods, which are groups of containers scheduled and scaled together.
An open-source cloud computing platform known for its modular architecture, scalability, and flexibility.
Provides flexible, scalable object storage designed to handle high traffic and large data volumes. It ensures high availability, redundancy, data replication, and backup for data integrity and protection.
This robust infrastructure ensures ESA MAAP can efficiently handle varying workloads and deliver reliable services.
