A new ESA MAAP FLEX Portal is now available, dedicated to the FLEX mission. The portal provides access to mission-related resources and services, including documentation, processing capabilities, and other mission-specific information.‌

The ESA MAAP FLEX Collaborative Environment has been opened to the members of the FLEX DISC Consortium.

Access may also be granted, upon request, to FLEX Validation Teams with an endorsed proposal submitted through the FLEX Calibration and Validation Announcement of Opportunity , provided that they are willing to share validation data during the FLEX Commissioning Phase and the early part of Phase E2.

The PAL platform has been enhanced to allow users to select product-part files marked as Bookmarks as inputs to processors running on Intellect, extending processing capabilities beyond complete products. Job status tracking has also been improved, providing more accurate updates during processing execution. In addition, mapped host volumes are now available within Podman containers (~/my-private-bucket/, ~/my-public-bucket/ and ~/shared-buckets/), while materials uploaded to the Examples_and_Data S3 folder are now displayed according to user permissions. Furthermore, users of the Biomass Collaborative Environment now have access to a new set of BPS processors on the Processing platform, including BPS L1 v4.4.4, BPS L1 Stack v4.4.4, BPS L1 v4.3.1 and BPS L1 Stack v4.3.1.

The ESA MAAP Catalog has been enhanced with default sorting capabilities: collections are now ordered alphabetically by Title, while products are sorted by Start Date in descending order, displaying the most recent products first.

In addition, support for OPTIONS requests on the /queryables APIs has been introduced, allowing authenticated STAC Browser users to easily discover and browse the available search filters.

The ESA MAAP Catalog has been updated to ensure compatibility with the new STAC Browser release.

The ESA MAAP Explorer platform has been enhanced with a completely renewed Explorer User Guide covering all newly introduced features.

Improvements have also been made to GeoJSON and WKT polygon import functionality, and Landsat products are now visible in the Standard Explorer.

In addition, the Bulk List feature now supports the export of a text file containing the download endpoints (URLs) for all search results, with a limit of up to 500 products per operation to ensure reliable performance.

A new Service Status Page is now available, providing real-time information on the availability and operational status of ESA MAAP services.

Users can consult the page to check service status, planned maintenance activities, and any ongoing service disruptions.

The ESA MAAP Explorer platform has been enhanced with support for Time Preferences filtering in Multi-Discovery, browsing of Landsat collections in both Standard Explorer and Multi-Discovery, and improved alignment between the results returned by the two discovery interfaces.

The Product Algorithm Laboratory platform has been enhanced to improve job execution reliability and eliminate timeout-related failures, provide greater visibility of processor service information, optimise job quota management, ensure processing state consistency, and streamline processing workflows.

The ESA MAAP Catalog has been updated to ensure correct retrieval of the STAC publication date by using the appropriate OGC metadata field. In addition, infrastructure optimizations have improved platform stability, resolving the timeout issues recently experienced within the MAAP system. The limit on the number of simultaneous user requests to the Catalog per minute has also been increased.

The ESA MAAP Catalog has been enhanced with the replacement of the CDSE interface, improvements to WMTS/WMS service capabilities, support for LANDSAT remote catalog federation, and enhanced metadata indexing to improve data discovery and access.

The ESA MAAP Explorer platform has been enhanced with the introduction of Multi-Discovery Mode and STAC Browser Mode, improved sorting capabilities, a new coordinate-based AOI input panel, enhanced visualisation services, incremental auto-completion for collection searches, and improvements to WMS WebMap links.

The News Subscription link has been added to the ESA MAAP Portal, enabling users to stay informed and up to date with the latest platform news and updates.

The ESA MAAP Catalog has been updated to align queryable names with the STAC API specification. Moreover, the Catalogue now supports searching/filtering for offerings queryable for remote collections.

The ESA MAAP Explorer has been enhanced with color legends for active WMS layers and new bulk product selection and download capabilities.

The PAL has been enhanced with BPS command line support and improvements to collections discovery within the Visualisation & Analytics environment.

The ESA MAAP Catalog now supports sorting capabilities for search results via the STAC interface.

The ESA MAAP Explorer has been enhanced through improved Catalog integration and minor performance optimisations.

The PAL now supports systematic processing on Intellect, enables Podman support in Experiments, and provides an improved user experience for cloud resource monitoring.

The Long Lasting Token now remains valid for 90 days instead of 10 hours.
