ESA MAAP complements and integrates with the ESA EO Ground Segment Common Services to enhance the discovery and access to ESA and Third Party Missions (TPM) data. This integration notably includes identity and access management (IAM), user services for first-level support and ticket handling, news and content publishing, and vocabulary use.

 

Given the innovative nature of the services and the specific needs of various scientific communities, ESA MAAP is designed to evolve flexibly during the course of the activity to adapt to Collaborative Environment needs. Potential future enhancements include access to additional data beyond ESA and TPM missions, such as external datasets and catalogues, as well as integration with external tools and libraries.

 

ESA MAAP aims to provide a complete, end-to-end, open, interoperable, extensible, and scalable service. It will interface with pre-selected services and resources and allow for prompt integration with other relevant external elements for various Collaborative Environment.

 

ESA MAAP is delivered by the Consortium consisting of Serco Italia as prime Contractor, with CGI Italy, CGI UK, MEEO and Spacebel.
